Incoterms are eleven standard delivery terms that split costs, risks and duties between seller and buyer. The extremes of the scale: EXW, where the buyer collects the goods at the seller's warehouse and pays for everything onward, and DDP, where the seller brings the goods to the door with customs already paid.
Why it matters for the estimate
The same invoice price under EXW and under CIF means different budgets: in the first case all route costs come on top, in the second some are already included. The terms also drive the customs value: costs up to the EAEU border are included in the base for duty and VAT.
When comparing supplier offers, always bring them to the same basis — otherwise the «cheaper» one may turn out more expensive. The estimate on our site takes delivery terms into account.
